August 2 thru 10, 2013 is the second annual Performing Arts Festival on the Bayou in Jefferson Texas. During the week-long festival there will be performances by musicians, bands, and even a couple of theatrical plays. All performances will be in the air-conditioned Transportation building downtown.

The line-up includes legends such as Richard Bowden and John Early bringing you “The Bowden-Early Experience”, Lacie Carpenter and “The Southern String Line” including Sarah Griffin and Shane Mathews, the “Texas Tumbleweed” brings his Cowboy Extravaganza, Daniel Foster and Darby Warren bring some gospel, country and classical music to the party, Brad Slaight brings two one act plays to the stage, Sarah Griffin, Shane Mathews and Marcus Leary give you some boot stomping fun and to top it all off “Bye Bye Birdie” will be on stage again.
