Come let the Jefferson Texas Annual Christmas Parade take you back to a time when life was a bit more simple. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of life for a few moments to experience a hometown celebration of the season.
On Monday, December 5, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. the parade takes off from the spectacular Christmas Tree wonderland at Lion’s Park weaving its way along Henderson, Market, Austin, Polk and finishing at Brookshire’s along Broadway.
Lighted floats depicting nativity scenes, carolers, and bands are but a few of the things you’ll see. The evening’s special guest, Santa Claus riding atop a fire truck will be making his list and checking it twice.
Join in on the fun as we celebrate Christmas as it was many years ago.
For information regarding your participation in the parade contact the Marion County Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Information Center
Don’t forget to book your Jefferson Tx bed and breakfast reservation early, there are still rooms left but they are filling up fast for all the Holiday events.
