Books Alive dinner to be held at the Jefferson, Texas Transportation & Visitor Center at 305 E. Austin Street at 7pm of Friday April 27, 2012.
An evening with Missy Buchanan, popular Upper Room author and contributor to the United Methodist Reporter, will speak on her new book My Story, My Song. Missy co-wrote the book with Lucimarian Roberts, mother of popular Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts, and the book is a reflection of Mrs. Roberts’ life and faith.
Come and hear why Missy says she feels privileged to share Mrs. Roberts’ stories as she reflects on the hand of God at work in her life. Tickets are $25/per person or $40/couple and include dinner and a signed copy of the book.
