A very popular TV show called the Daytripper recently came to Jefferson Texas. Well the show finally came out and I can tell you it is well worth watching. The crew not only mentioned our title as the Bed and Breakfast Capital of Texas he toured town the best way possible; by horse drawn carriage. The Daytripper takes you on an adventure through some of the best that Jefferson has to offer visitors who come to town.
If I were to be asked what are the best things to see and do while in Jefferson, I’d pick exactly the same things that Chet and the Daytripper crew experienced.
No trip to Jefferson is complete without a walk around downtown with all our historic buildings, the museum, historic home tours and of course strolling through the aisles of our many antique shops and then a drive out to Caddo Lake swamps.
